Howa Mini Action Bolt-Action Rifle 6.5mm Grendel 20″ Threaded Barrel Black

The Howa Mini Action in 6.5mm Grendel delivers a compact, purpose-built bolt-action platform sized specifically for the cartridge — eliminating the excess receiver length common in full-size actions. With a 20-inch threaded barrel and a 1-in-8″ twist rate optimized for the 6.5 Grendel’s projectile range, this rifle is well-suited for medium-range hunting, predator control, and precision range work. It ships with a 5-round magazine and is built to Howa’s reputation for tight tolerances and consistent performance.

Howa’s Mini Action platform represents a genuinely engineered solution — not a standard long-action or short-action rifle forced to chamber a cartridge it wasn’t designed around, but a receiver built from the ground up to match the 6.5 Grendel’s case dimensions. The result is a tighter, more consistent lockup and a trimmer overall package. Whether you’re threading a suppressor onto that muzzle for hog country work or pushing the cartridge to its effective limits on steel at distance, this rifle gives you a serious, no-compromise foundation to build on.
